"Open Up" is a 24/7 online text emotional support platform for publics mainly aged 6-24, under the funding of Social Welfare Department and operated by 5 social welfare organizations (The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong, Caritas Hong Kong, Hong Kong Children & Youth Services, The Hong Kong Federation Youth Groups, St. James' Settlement), in collaboration with The Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention, the University of Hong Kong.

Through connecting to the online text platform when they feel necessary, youngsters could ventilate their sufferings and stress and could feel a sense companion and self-determination. We encourage youngsters to connect to us rather than enduring negative emotions alone.
