Initiated by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, "Open Up" was officially established in 2018. The service currently provides online text-based counseling for youth aged 6 to 24, offering 24/7 support for emotional distress arising from academics, family, peer relationships, and work. In June 2025, with funding from the Social Welfare Department, "Open Up" integrated the services of the "Cyber Youth Support Teams" to provide continuous support for young people facing various life challenges.
